I’ve been using Rosetta Stone for a few months now, the progress tracking is a big part of why I keep opening it. I was feeling unmotivated when I first started, so being able to see which lessons I finished and where I still need practice really helped me stay on track.
Some days I only manage 10 minutes, but it still counts, and that makes me feel like I did something instead of totally skipping. It’s a simple feature, but it’s been surprisingly helpful. 5 stars from me.

"The lessons build on each other nicely"
I like how everything is broken down into easy steps, and each lesson kind of builds on the last one, if that makes sense. It makes it simple to follow along without feeling overwhelmed.

"Finally sticking with Spanish"
I’ve been using Rosetta Stone for a few months now, i can tell my Spanish is getting better. I’m not suddenly fluent or anything, but I feel more confident understanding and responding than I did before. The lessons are short enough that I can actually fit them in after work, which has made it easier to stay consistent. I also like that it pushes me to think in Spanish instead of just memorizing random words. It’s not perfect, but from my experience, it’s been more helpful than the other apps I’ve tried.

I’ve mainly been using Rosetta Stone to work on my speaking, and it’s helped a lot. The pronunciation tool keeps making me repeat words until I’m closer, which can be a little annoying, but in a useful way lol. It’s also made me realize some of my pronunciation mistakes were totally preventable once I actually heard them and practiced more. I feel way more comfortable saying full sentences now instead of just reading them. Super easy to use, and I like that I can fit in a little practice every day

I figured Rosetta Stone would be straightforward, and it mostly is. I was able to get into lessons without really thinking too much about it, and the layout makes sense once you poke around for a minute. It keeps my progress saved, which is nice, so I can just hop back in for daily practice. A couple buttons or directions made me stop and guess for a second, but nothing major. Overall, it’s simple and does what I need

"Immersion just wasn’t my thing"
I understand what they’re going for with the whole immersion approach, and in theory it sounds great. Like, I get that you’re supposed to pick things up naturally, kind of how kids learn, though kids also have way more free time and someone handing them snacks all day. For me, though, it mostly felt confusing. A lot of the time I was just guessing what was going on instead of actually feeling like I was learning. Some lessons were fine, but I really would’ve appreciated a few basic translations or quick tips here and there. Not a terrible program or anything, just more frustrating than helpful for the way I learn...

I’m surprised, but I’m remembering new words way better than I did with other apps I’ve tried!!! It just feels like they actually stay in my head now!!!

"Finally, lessons that just load"
I use it on my laptop, the desktop lessons load really fast, which I appreciate because I have zero patience for waiting around. Everything feels simple to follow and I can get right into it without messing with a bunch of extra stuff

I was a little unsure at first, because language apps can get expensive quickly and I’ve tried a few where it feels like... okay, now they want more money again.
With Rosetta Stone, the pricing felt straightforward to me. I don’t feel like I’m constantly being nudged to buy add-ons, which I really appreciate. The lessons are simple to follow too, and I can just do them when I have time, even if it’s only for a few minutes.
So far, I feel like it’s been worth it. Especially compared to paying for in-person classes, which I thought about but... yeah, this just made more sense for me right now.

"Helpful support when I needed it"
I had some trouble getting back into my account after switching phones, and I expected it to be a bit of a hassle. It took a little figuring out on my end, but support got back to me fairly quickly and walked me through the reset without making it confusing. The person I talked to was patient and explained everything in simple steps. Overall, it was a good experience and nice to deal with a support team that actually helped

"My listening is actually improving"
I’ve noticed I’m hearing words more clearly now, which surprised me a bit. I’m usually skeptical about customer service and don’t really trust them to be much help if something goes wrong, but the product itself has been working well for me so far.

I really like how the lessons switch things up often, so it doesn’t start feeling boring after a few days. Some are quick, and some actually make me slow down and think a bit. It’s been easy for me to stick with it, which doesn’t happen a lot

"Mostly works, but the glitches get on my nerves"
The lessons usually load without any trouble, so I can’t say it’s a bad app. But every now and then the mic check just freezes, or my progress doesn’t sync, and that’s when I start getting annoyed. Maybe part of it is my phone or my Wi-Fi acting up, but it always seems to happen right when I’m trying to keep my streak going.

"I kind of expected just some random grammar..."
I kind of expected just some random grammar phrases, but it was more step by step, which I liked. The lessons go into the sentences in a way that made my brain understand it better, if that makes sense. It actually helped me see how sentences are put together.
